As a woman, I'm pretty sure she is struggling to come to terms with the abortion and you are a walking, living breathing reminder of it.
I would leave her alone 100% and let her heal/grieve

yeah i understand that. we had a lengthy chat about everything that happens. She still holds some resentment towards me and was in a dark place for a while once we split.
It was only recently we reconnected and yesterday was a weird one. I really want to check in on her but dont want to come across as a sook or invade her personal space.

I’m going to give you a little tough love..you got to bang your ex. Well done. Don’t be clingy or needy. Once she senses that, she’s not coming back around. That’s the game they play. They want to be wanted, they want to have you be their lapdog. You want her to come back around? Act like you don’t give a fuck whether she does or not. It’ll drive her crazy.
