Same boat here. Try to never only ask her a question. Because you are only another one of a hundred faceless dudes then. Push some personal info out first. You have an exciting live. Let her know about some stuff that happened to you recently, and add a question. Give her something to like or hate. Makes life easier for you.

Dont write hey. Instead write 'hey just came back from xy where y was absolutely stunning and reminded me of you bbla bla. How's your day goin? Or so

Keep it tight. If she bites it's fine. If not next. But you'll never know if she like or hates the bait if you try to catch her with an empty hook.

I don't know why they do that, it sucks. In general I never write things like 'hey' etc. I try to arrange to meet again . For example :"I know that you like rock and this place plays good 90s rock every Thursday , wanna join me?" Or something like that. I hate the small talk with someone new. I will ask them stuff like how your day is when I see them.

Crazy how a lot of us are going through the same thing. I'm trying to switch my approach up and spend a little more time to talk after closing to make it be known I want more than just her number. I also feel like not waiting a few days to text is hurting me a lot. At least you're getting numbers and making progress keep it up. It'll all pay off in the long run.
