You're gonna send about 150-200 messages, get around 15-20 dates and hook up with 2 or 3. So yes you are right on track seems like, online dating is indeed numbers.

If you got 20 dates, you are at least decent looking on your pictures. If you look very different, then that would be a reason why you only get to 3 hookups.

Now let’s say that you look like your pics. You seem to be good at texting. But maybe not at taking face to face. The reason I say this is: when a girl says “I am awkward”, she is really talking about you.

So I would do things to boost my confidence. I would go to the gym. I would wear expensive clothes. I would be perfectly groomed each time. I would practice talking to people IRL all the time, joke around with the lady at the cash register, talk to strangers, just be in a good mood and talk, talk, talk. Then each night I would recap and see what was awkward, what worked,... I’d learn a few jokes. Self deprecating humor always works.

Then during the date, I would talk as little as possible. I would ask questions. Listen. Build on what she said.
