Smiling is good. I get girls holding it the entire time. That one is much more intimidating. You have to be relaxed and chill as fuck when this happens. I see you're at the start of your journey. The more you practice the greater your odds will be and the more natural you will become. It takes constant work and dedication. Only focus on the good and not the bad. Dis-regard it completely and reward your self for the good. Make eye contact with every girl you find attractive while you talk to them. Have a man to woman frame of mind and you'll be successful. If they smile, that's good.

If they break eye contact by looking to the ground, it's a sign of submission. Also good, generally speaking.

You should approach with a "let's just see what happens" mentality.

I'm a straight woman and I only initiate a smile at other women... I guess my point is to not overthink it.
