Hello to all of you!

Tl:Dr I've been reading thus subreddit for quite some time and I am fairly confident that you can help me with this. How do I open the conversation with a girl I've added so that I maximize the chances of getting an answer and a conversation ? I don't know her, but I'd like to start talking to her on Facebook and then get to know her, eventually asking her out. Any tips on this?

While the ideas from here mainly revolve around the idea of meeting girls in a club or just talking to girls in public, that is rather unsuitable for me: - i've never been a fan of clubbing and whilst I did go to a club a few times some years ago, I did not have any success, despite the fact that I had read some tips beforehand. I guess clubbing just does not suit me, neither do one night stands. - As far as talking to girls in public is concerned, I really do not see me do such a thing, at least not right now, because I think it requires quite a lot of work and having a good state of mind (which I don't have right now, because some weeks ago I broke up with my former girlfriend - things had been rough for the months prior- bad experience). And as far as working on myself is concerned, I am rather busy right now since I have to learn for a difficult exam in autumn, so that I may choose the medical specialty I want. Quite a lot to learn. Yet, I'd like a girl, which is why I'm sometimes keeping an eye on the Suggested Friends on Facebook. I know FB is not for dating and so, but it's worked once. I don't see it as being worse than Tinder. And what do you know? It sometimes suggests girls from the same University, just one or two years younger. The problem is most tend not to answer even though I don't give them the generic "Hey, what do you do?"

Thank you in advance.
