Ask questions about her and her hobbies and follow up questions with her answers. Dry humour is fine if she appreciates it but don't try be funny and it will happen naturally. Talk about things you enjoy and you will find that you are not so boring, oh and good luck.

Don't try to change who you are too much. Not every girl likes an overenthusiastic clown. If you wanna be more fun that's cool but stay authentic.
Don't be ashamed to say what you genuinely think. Express your opinion. If you like her dress. Say it. If you Wann do xy, say it. If you don't like xy say it.
Don't be ashamed about anything at all. Head up and stay true to yourself. If you can keep that up you are able to pull her into your reality. That's what is called frame. For example: is it weird to not have kissed a girl at 16? => there is no answer. The truth is whoever has the stronger framed opinion.
It's okay to be nervous. Nothing wrong with it. Accept it, don't fight it. Even in mid 30s you will see professional managers shaking at board presentations. But they still fucking nail it and ppl will react positively if they pushed through regardless. Nobody can turn off nervousness. You can hide it but whenever you are excited about sth and it's important to you you will be nervous in life. It's not even important to hide it though. Because everyone can relate to nervousness, everyone knows it and ppl will appreciate if you learn to just keep going anyway.
