If you're still on vacation I suggest you cold approach a few girls in Vietnam. I live here in Vietnam and I can say they usually respond pretty well to it as they think it's romantic. If nothing else it could give you some positive conditioning that might put you on the right path.Just in general and even back when I lived in America, if my behavior communicates that the approach isn't a big deal, by being relaxed, slowing down my movement and speech, not coming across as a threat, assuming comfort and attraction, most women will conform to that reality and respond well, at least in a friendly manner. I think in general women tend to look toward the man's behavior to determine how she should feel. If the man is awkward, scared, etc. it will make her feel awkward. If he's in an elevated state, she will most likely want to react in a way that brings her own state up. Try to have a strong reality that women can follow.

Well I'm assuming you're talking about Hanoi (I live in Saigon) but yeah anywhere like that, parks are really good for approaches. Malls and walking streets as well.
