So, I asked this acquaintance (we've only hung twice, and I made a joke about us being friends the first time we met) out to get waffles at this dessert place. When I walked in, I gave her a hug and a compliment to establish kino and flirting.

I sat next to her on the table and touched her occasionally on the shoulder when she made a joke. We bantered and talked, although there were a few awkward silences.

I asked her about her love life, she said she was single and I said I was surprised because she's so good looking and she said she was surprised I was single because I was good looking and I said it was because I hadn't found the right girl yet who I can banter with and she said same. I joked "we should get together", but I didn't say it with much confidence and I moved on and talked about the food, which could've been a problem.

We talked and bantered some more and I asked if I should walk her home and she said no, she did talk about us going to restaurant "next time", but I'm not sure if that's a date or a hanging out. I don't know what I did wrong, maybe I went too far or didn't far enough, what do you think?
