We all know these very average (maybe below average) women who like to brag about guys approaching them and being creepy in very public places where they clearly wouldn't get approached by anyone.

The point of their fake story is to make you understand that they do, in fact, get approached by men and that there is some competition for them too. For that reason, it would make you want them more (?).

These are bottom of the barrel women, but what is the male phrase that is the equivalent of this? It must be something very transparent and cheap in nature...
