Curses aren't real. Is this happening all the time or just one or two occasions?

What do you usually look out fir as indicators of interest and do you appropriately escalate?

Sometimes girls don't tell you they have a boyfriend right away, because they don't want to come off as the presumptuous "bitch" who responds to every interaction with a male with "I have a boyfriend." The sorts of women who are like this are probably a bit self-conscious about looking "bitchy," probably due to salty-ass dudes who have made them feel like "bitches" for no reason.

Then there's another type of girl, the "monkey-brancher." She might fail to mention the boyfriend because she sees you as an option in case she wants to "upgrade." But as soon as her attraction to you fades and she changes her mind about you (maybe because you waited too long or showed some DLVs), she will start to mention the boyfriend to friendzone you.

One thing to keep in mind is that most women are already in relationships. Most of the time when you get "I have a boyfriend," it will be true. I think it just comes with the territory of meeting people in real life. Unless somebody is on a platform specifically for available people, like online dating, there's a very good chance, at least a fifty percent chance (if not more), that she's already taken.

Stop worrying about curses. Approach more women and make them chase.
