We got into a nice enough conversation, I made her laugh a few times, but I still never got to the point where I was sure she was into me, or if she was just a nice person who's willing to have a nice conversation with a stranger.
I asked her if she was going to meet friends, and she said somebody had asked her out on a date to a car show (though she says she knows nothing about cars and has never been to one).
I didn't know how to respond. I had already gotten her Instagram at that point, and I wanted to actually ask her out instead of waiting to message her later, but I thought it would trigger her ASD if I asked her out when she was already on her way to meet a guy. I mean, everybody dates more than one person before becoming exclusive with somebody, and this sounded like a first date to me, but because of the harsh messaging women get about their sexuality from society, it probably would have made her feel like a "slut" to accept a date while on her way to another date, like she just "goes out with everyone" or whatever.
So, I just parted ways with her without actually showing much intent. What's the best way to go about asking her out without making it awkward?
