This is a logical trap I see on this board multiple times per day.

When you get the number, your main goal is to get her out, not build a texting relationship.

To that end, you initiate only one type of text.

A thin slice of your personality.

Meme, pic, joke, observation. Nothing that requires her to write back. But if she digs it, she might.

Say you met her at a bar. Send a text like -

"Woke up this morning like..

And then a funny pic.

That's it. No HRU, WYD, or anything that suggests you give a fuck about her day and want to see how she is doing.

When she writes back, tell her what cool shit you are already doing, and allow her to meet you there.

"Going to this embassy party, come with, we can maybe grab a drink after."

That is it.

Your mission is accomplished and you don't give a fuck if she doesn't want to watch the NBA game at the cool place you mentioned.

She has opportunities to come join your life, but you ain't doing nothing cool especially for her.

No rejections, no pressure of formal dates, no flakes, never getting stood up.

There is no magic formula for how often or how many times. Get the girl on the phone and talk to her. Ask her out and stop playing games. If you think you are the only guy messaging her you are probably going to be disappointed. Pick up the phone and call her.
