So I have been speaking to this girl on and off we’ve exchanged a few texts.

Then we message each other again the usual hello how are you kind of texts.

I then proceeded to say “what’s your schedule like” which yes I realise now I should of left it at that but then 4 hours later I then went on to say let me Know if you want to go for coffee one day.

This was all sent yesterday by the way. So today she has seen the message and still hasn’t replied. I believe it’s because I was trying to fill in the gaps for her and didn’t give her an actual chance to have an input in the conversation. I believe I messed up by sending ‘one text to many’ which is why she won’t reply.

Bottom line is don’t over text like how I did this in this situation, where I sent three texts two in a row then the third one a couple of hours later. I should have just sent the response text then the open question text. At least I know where I messed up.

I’m writing this mainly because I realised realised how much of a silly mistake this is also there might be people out there who can learn from this error.

TL:DR - don’t send more messages then you need to wait for the response.
