Lol. You are probably fine in terms of looks. And you are only going to get more physically attractive with age. Thinking otherwise is an story old people tell younger people when they are frustrated and have given up on trying to be attractive.
Your issue is probably you’ve gotten more self conscious. Likely with people telling you there “isn’t much time left” or “these are the best years of your life... dont squander it!” both of these are false.
Your teenage years and early 20s will be a shit show. Everyone is shallow and nobody knows how to actually engage with each other in a healthy manner.
There is a reason you will see women in their early 20s dating guys 30-50... and no it’s not because they are sugar babies with a sugar daddy. A pretty fuckboy isn’t going to show them the dark recesses of the bed room with the confidence of a god. The man isn’t going to worry about wether or not his girlfriend still likes him because she is staying out later with her friends and flirting with guys. Women react to a non needy guy like a glass of water in a desert.
Fuck looks. Read/internalize Models.
After that if your first question is “How do I improve my text game to slide into DMs with the one girl in my class?” Then go read Models again, you were asleep at the wheel.

At these social events girls used to flirt with me however, this doesn't happen anymore. I don't know why and really it hurts.
Social interactions are tremendously complicated things. You've told us nothing here.
We've all been there, man. It does hurt.
But if you don't give more details about what was and is happening, then we can't tell you what has gone wrong.
I'm beginning to think that as I grow older I'm getting worse looking. I've been told that recently buy some adults ( not my family).
This is a pretty big piece of the puzzle, I think. You're talking about an important concept here called your self-schema. This can be negatively affected by people around you, and can lead to negative voices in your head keeping you down.
It sounds like the big thing here might be your mindset.

Thanks for the advice man.
Girls used to flirt with me as they used to touch my arm or laugh at unfunny jokes I made. I also used to notice girls looking at me from a distance more often This would happen mostly my freshmen year and I am a sophomore now. This would occur at places such as a dinner my friends and I would go to or mostly at school. Girls now don't do that stuff anymore and it just brings my self esteem down when I see a girl flirting with one of my friends

Well, I guess something happened to you between then and now. Couldn't say what it is, beyond the self-schema thing I mentioned. It's a powerful thing to have people telling you that you're unattractive.
What do you do, socially?
What are your friends like?
What do you do with them?
