In my experience it never help to do nothing, message and try your best. That’s all anyone should expect from you and if she likes you too you will find anything to talk about.

Your title question is annoying Who gives a fuck, a confident person would do whatever he wants & can handle whatever consequences Lets say u re afraid you may be perceived as boring or she may get annoyed then you try to make the convo interesting like all that typical Ask her open ended question Find things in common You’ll succeed at it but the confidence In end you’ll really know if that girl worth ur time or not I did the same mistake, had crush on girl tried to get her attention but god dame she had the most boring default personality who cant even get near the barriers of her comfort zone which make her look dump All of that combined is covered with a really good looking girl shes pretty & cute redhead girl
