Hi everyone.
So I went on my first date ever this Monday. I dated before, but I got into a relationship with girls whom I knew before, so this was something completely new. I only talked to her for a little bit and then met up for a date a couple of days later.
The good news is that it went better than expected. We talked a lot, I managed to break contact barrier a bit late, but I did it. Then I kissed her right before we went separate ways. She was giving me a lot of signals, so I knew it was a sure thing. I might even be able to invite her home, but I didn't want to go in over my head. This was my first date with a "stranger" and I already achieved more than I hoped for.
Now I'm not sure how to proceed further. Mainly I'm worried that she will fall for me more than I will for her. She's showing a lot of interest by contacting me right after the date (sent me some random funny stuff as she was walking home) and we've been slowly chatting ever since. She also asked me if I wanted to see her again. So interest is definitely high, no doubt.
She seems awesome and she's very cute, but I am not sure I want a serious relationship at this point, but I'd love to go on a second date with her. I also wouldn't want sleep with her if we don't want the same things. Basically I don't want to lead her on or hurt her in any way.
So my main questions would be:
- What should we do on a second date? We mainly walked around and talked on the first one and had great fun doing just that.
- How soon should I bring up the "what are we expecting from each other" talk? If she's also looking for something casual, that's great. Otherwise I'd probably prefer to go on a couple of more dates to get to know her a bit better and then properly decide where my feelings lie. But again, I'm afraid of leading her on if we hang out too much while our interests might not be aligned.
Any help would be appreciated.
