I find going direct is just plain suicide if you are not blessed with good looks. Especially here in the UK. It's an instant backturn/ignored, or at best a ''Sorry. you're not my type. Bye'' and then a fast walk away.

So how about indirect. What are the sorts of openers you guys rock on girls at night (on their own, with a friend, or maybe a group of girls etc)

PS-Please don't answer 'just say hi'. That's just a 'pre opener' too a conversation. Similarly, just introducing yourself as an opener seems to be considered an odd thing to do here. (confirmed by girls reactions, and by my nonPUA male friends who have heard me open girls like that and agree it's a strange way to open lol).

What sort of openers do you guys rock in bars? (i'm particulalry interested to here from Europeans due to cultural differences to the US where everyone is super social and friendly with strangers)

Personally, in groups I still sometimes rock old school opinion openers. They tend to work sometimes. I used the classic 'who lies more' last night and it got me into a decently long set

On their own, I tend to open with a comment on their clothes. (I like you're jacket bla bla bla'') This seems to be hit and miss. Sometimes it goes down well, and sometime girls seem to think ii'm being sarcastic or that it's maybe kinda odd (or gay?!) that i'm mentioning their clothes lol

Sometimes i'll rock the usual 'how's your night going' (which is the opener EVERY guy in teh UK uses)

Ideally i'll use a situational opener where something interesting is happening around us, but that's rare and relies on luck (something crazy happening)
