I started approaching at bars and night clubs about 1.5 months ago. Up to that point, I would never approach random women in bars even though I always wanted too. I had too much AA, didn’t put in enough effort, etc. I finally did it one night and my approach anxiety has gone down to almost nothing at night since then. I still have to MASSIVELY improve my game, but I actually get bored from just doing a bunch of approaches. My AA disappeared surprisingly fast. I am sober doing these approaches as well.
Here in lies the problem. I do better/prefer conversational game. Talkative, high volume bars are great for me. However, day game seems to be the best type of game for people who are very conversational in their approaches. I also read and have heard from other guys that day game is better for girlfriends, which is ultimately what I’m looking for. For people who day game, how did you start approaching? What advice can you give me to get over AA? My AA stems from the following: Girls expect to be approached in bars and approaching is somewhat normal behavior in that setting, even though most guys aren’t doing it. There is a ton of volume: fail, immediately move on to the next one. No one could tell it was a failure and no one could hear what was said or what actually happened in the interaction. While some girls have their guards up, many are subconsciously there in hopes of meeting and talking to guys.
Day game issues: low volume. Unless you go to high volume city areas there isn’t a lot of women. Everyone around you pays attention to the interaction because it’s so uncommon and not expected behavior. For example, there were at least 3 girls I found very attractive today at the grocery store. They are moving around shopping, I wanted to say something so badly to them, but it felt so out of place.
Side note: I never get approached in the day, but on one of the rare occasions that it happened it was at a supermarket. A 7/8 came up to me and started talking to me about low calorie ice cream. I’m a fit guy, and the ice cream was right there. It made my day, even though I had to decline at the time because I was in a relationship. Rationally, girls would probably feel the same way if I approached them in a supermarket even if they do reject me
This has been an unorganized rant, but if anyone has advice on how to break this mental barrier, please let me know. Other logistical issues about myself. I work full time and workout 1-2 hours a day and go to school online part time for my masters, so day game time is already limited. The type of day game advice I’m specifically looking for is advice on when I’m just going about my day (ordering coffee, grocery shopping, waiting for public transportation, at gym, etc) rather than being able to go out for 4 hours in the middle of the day solely to game
