- A good attitude -
Basic af right? Yea but a lot of people know themselves out of the race with negative self-talk, thought, and fear. You’re one of the few people who are actually taking action beyond reading and listening. You are actually out there taking the risk. Know that this process is going to take time but that every interaction is one you are going to learn from. Believe in yourself because if you don’t there are very few people that will. You got this!
- A mentor -
Everyone needs a guide. Someone to help you get there and back but also navigate the hurdles of game/pickup/seduction. It could be anyone really but make sure they resonate with you and your long term goals while also making sure they fully understand your needs and have the correct approach or method for you. You may also need to be prepared to invest, there are a lot of good things out there for free but “if you want the good shit, pay for it”
- A willingness to change -
That’s right. Learning this skill is going to change you and if you aren't ready for that its best you stay away until you are. There are people who want to learn the magical tips and tricks just to get the girl but never actually grow...that never ends well. Growth and change are a must when choosing this road. That being said, you can learn the process but do try to avoid becoming someone you are not, imitation of that alpha male or just being a dick because some guy told you it works may not be the best bet. Find the balance.
- Clear definition of what you want-
Be that to become a pickup artist an instructor, a ladies man, several casual encounters to eventually get married. Have a clearly defined goal will really help you. I can't tell you the number of times I have seen men/women crash and burn when faced with the question “what do you want” from the opposite sex. Even if you don't want the same thing you can save yourself a lot of trouble in the long run by knowing and sticking with this little gem.
- A go to -
This can be tough and outright exhausting at times. There are a lot of things that just won't go your way and if you don't have a go-to hobby/outlet, something to re-energize you or help you refocus you will very quickly find yourself burnt out and sick of trying. The same can be said with having a solid routine or something to get you into the right mindset before going out.
Bonus: A short memory-
Most of your days, in the beginning, are going to suck. You will have 1000 questions and never enough answers. You will miss out on opportunities and have no idea why. Let it go. Start each day knowing you will be better because if you focus on the failure...that's a rabbit hole of never-ending self-imposed pain and suffering.
