22M, Italian.

I've always been a shy person. As a child I never had the motivation to socialize with other people. Unfortunately, with the passage of time it has become a problem especially with the girls, I can never break the ice and approach them at the beginning. So at 22 I don't have a girlfriend yet. Last month I started an evening dance course and I met this girl (of English origins but also speaks Italian) very pretty and sunny. Every time we dance together he asks me how I am and always starts the conversation with me. This helped me to melt with her and to be more self-confident. Last night, while I was in the car and going to the dance class, I saw her walking on the road to go there. When I saw her I told him that if I wanted I could give him a ride with the car to accompany her the next time, but she politely told me that she is already accompanied by two of her English friends with the car (1 male and 1 female).

However at the end of the dance lesson, she turned to me and told me that this weekend she and her 2 friends (they too are in my same dance course) will go dancing and if I want to join them. Obviously I accepted immediately, although I'm ridiculous to dance.

2 days later: To be my first time at the disco, it was a 7/10. good company, I drank a few drinks, I was close to the group of 3 English boys for most of the evening, and above all I talked to the girl and we danced together a few times (She always invited me to dance). Although when she had to leave , she didn't greet me. We were sitting at the same tables and she told me that she had to leave, but then she literally walked in front of me without saying neither "goodbye" :(

Next week I leave for 3 weeks abroad, so I won't be able to attend the dance course and I don't even know if I'll see her again. Do you think I should ask for the phone number or is it too early? What "excuse" do you suggest? Furthermore, with this girl I still do not have a very confidential relationship (I see her for 1 hour per lesson 2 times a week)
