So I linked up with this girl on insta and we were having a great convo. We later then met for our first date which according to me went great. We talked for about 4 hours but I have to mention I didn't initiate physical contact and that's how it reminded for the rest of the date. We walked back and hugged. I asked her out on insta for a 2nd date but she said "I’m really sorry I think you’ve got the wrong impression, we got on v well and I had a really good time but only as friends, sorry if I’ve made you believe other wise". So that was it. 3 months she later texts me saying " hey sorry for not treating you well when we were talking, I was in the middle of an on and off very emotionally abusive relationship and was not myself and wasn't very mentally stable for the rest of the term. I know this is long overdue but I just wanted to apologize and could've handled us better". I know she's being nice and I appreciate it but is there a way to for a 2nd chance or should I just accept the apology and move on?
