Teasing is good. Personally skip the basic info stuff, it's at best a waste of time and if the chat is flowing without asking what she does for a living or what kind of degree she is working on / has she will probably bring it up herself eventually or as filler. Get her off of tinder as soon as it seems appropriate, with a little practice this is really simple. Sometimes I've even had them say no then tell me it's to early and carry on chatting, this is literally her telling you she will do it if it carry's on in this direction normally.Furthermore to that don't do anything weak like saying tinder isn't showing the notifications or something, massive waste of time. Normally I'll just be direct and say "your cool want to grab a drink sometime" or some other random retarded idea that sounds like an adventure and the number follows.

How should I move the convo into an interesting direction?

This is a little bit of a hard one as normally all my chats are kinda different but I have a fairly high success rate. Ask her what her biggest fears are? or how you feel like just getting up from your desk one day and running off to the other side of the planet to really see if penguins lean at a 45 degree angle every time. I find a lot of the time the more over the top you initially start out the more interested they'll be in carrying on the conversation with you.

Other than the above, try actually writing out some funny or interesting stories on a word document and read them back to yourself to remind yourself that you're actually fun. Hell you might even be able to work them into your actual conversations if you get a chance.

Realistically all of the above is just a frame of mind, if you don't feel in a good state don't tinder, once your matched you can choose to start the conversation later.
