Sounds like you have the same problem I do: not knowing what to do after the opener. Whether I get a good conversation after the opener or not seems to depend entirely on how willing the other party is to immediately open up and carry their end of the conversation. Which is fine, but it makes it so that I have no control over the situation, and no opportunity to win over the "maybe" girls who need more talking to before getting hooked.

Traditional game's solution for this is called "routine stacking." Pretty much, you have several "routines" in the can for things to talk about. There are different sorts. Telling funny stories, doing cold reads, asking their opinions on a relatable situation… there's also shit like doing mentalist tricks or asking them Cosmo-quiz-like questions to determine things about their personalities, but these are probably a bit cheesy now that it's no longer 2005 (though I find that those New-Age chicks who believe in shit like healing crystals and "Law of Attraction" eat this shit up). You "stack" routines by going from one to another before the energy of one conversational thread dies down until you have them hooked, at which point, you can move on.

That's the "theory," anyway. I don't like coming off too canned and I prefer just being natural, and it's hard for me to even come up with things that fit this pattern that actually feel real to my personality rather than sounding exactly like the dumb bullshit I've read on some PUA blog. But at the same time, having some reference points already canned certainly helps with blanking out.

It's something I'm trying to adapt to my own natural style while not following it to a t, because I feel like an insincere douche when I follow it wholesale. It might help you to take a look at it, too.

I have the same problem or had now Im better at holding the conversation. I memorized routines. And they like it lol

I would take a note when I come home. And see where I missed up and see what I could have said to make her want me more during the conversation. Or basically if a girl I see and want to approach but really don't have anything to say then I would take out the notebook at home and see what I could have said.

There is a book full of routines by love system I think
