Hey everyone, I'm new to game (like 2 weeks of Dan Bacon vids and products) and reddit in general, but I've been self improving over the last 3 months and I see a lot of comments on posts wondering why self-improvement isn't working with women. I just want to tell anyone in doubt, it is your mindset. Don't put women on a pedestal. Sex is great but it isn't everything, and this is someone who it has taken years to figure that out. Have hobbies in your life that should consume your time outside of work to limit your neediness (especially if it's self-improvement based, weights, walks, and boxing have done wonders for me). Say yes to social opportunities that arise, offer social opportunities with no fear of rejection and an idea of what you can do on your own or with another if they say no, get better at just having fun with whatever you're doing (can be something as simple as going to a cheap minor league baseball game with a buddy and just talking shit with them, learn to be in the moment around people). Don't take things to serious, you need to be comfortable with whatever comes your way. And most importantly remember, you're improving for yourself and nobody else. I noticed when my mindset changed about why I was trying to do better for myself that my interactions with people changed, and those that know me constantly admire my improvements (had a buddy who is a serious player say he is jealous because I'm at a really good place in my life) and people who I wouldn't normally talk to start striking up conversations with me. Have fun with the process, worry about living up to the standards you set for yourself (be the best version of you) and nobody else. When you're a self-approving man, people sense that. In most cases it won't automatically get you women or anything, but you'll begin to notice the ease of social interaction especially with females if you realize the interaction's outcome won't matter to you in the grand scheme of your busy life in trying to be the best you can be, allowing you more comfort and ability to be yourself.

TLDR: Live by the mindset that you are becoming the man you want to be, you will see improvements in your everyday life and well-being.
