[FR/ Need Advice] Kissed in the middle of the date but we only hugged at the end. Is that a death sentence or am I over thinking?

Try asking if you can kiss them. Then you will know if she wants to be kissing you or is just being polite. Even a second peck can be simply a polite gesture in order to avoid awkwardness. Asking is the most confident thing you can do because it exposes you to the easiest rejection. Ask when you know the answer is yes, and when you ask do it with the mindset that you know the answer is yes so thoroughly that it’s almost a joke.

I think it’s really hard to tell what that hug meant to her, because it could have meant loads. I would say (when you both get back from your holidays ) ask her out again and bring it up casually during the date. Other than that, I wouldn’t worry

No advice here but I just wanted to point out the interesting fact that she went 20+ hours without responding to you and still went on the date. I hate when people on this sub retreat to the whole "oh if she isn't replying fast enough she isn't into you" because this isn't always true. Me and the girl I'm talking to now text in 2, 6 even 11 hour intervals and its perfectly fine. I'm going on my first date with her tomorrow. Anyways, I think you're reading too far into it, you guys have kissed multiple times it sounds like you're on the right track. Good luck with everything!
