Sounds like you are doing this out of fear of losing her and that is a fundamentally bad frame to be coming from. What if instead she was afraid of losing you? How would that change your interaction? Would you need to ask her out now?

Anyways even if she says yes you can still lose her on the vacation. She can change her mind. How about maybe if she’s lucky you will still be available for her when she gets back from vacation which you would happily go for but you can’t make any guarantees.
