Maybe you gotta make out, but really briefly and push them away before they are satisfied. You might be making yourself too nice, too available for their casual gratification.
You could even get them in the clutch expecting a makeout then hold them back or hold their hand or leave one hand on their waist and say with your eyes and body language ... or even say it aloud or mouth it ... "Later."
If you intrigue the hell out of them probably they'll be the one looking for you later.

I have no idea I guess you gotta go totally on intuition and guts. I know you got that going!
Try to assess: is she a bimbo trying to tease every possible guy and who needs to get some of her own back? Is this a sweet girl who doesn't do a lot of festivals/makeouts and wants sweetness and understanding? An artistic girl used to soy-boys who didn't realize til now how much she craves being cave-manned? How long of a trailer does this girl have to see of the cool-you to get you into their head so much they want to come back for the main feature?
In daygame you'd turn all of those guesses/assumptions into banter, in a noisy festival it's probably gotta be expressed as body language and action. Facial expression, miming, touch, whatever.

Fine a girl you like, dance with her and introduce yourself to her friends. Either hope the friends arent overly protective and cockblock you or try to isolate her (do you wanna get a drink really quick) before you grind with her and makeout. If its in the day and you still want to meet people definitely get the snapchat before you leave. And If its at night its try to leave the festival with the girl

Only problem I see here is that most of the sets I open are two sets. And I’m solo Shall I focus only on 3 or bigger sets in this kind of environment?

Two sets can be difficult because the friend will usually feel left out and might cockblock you, but its still possible. I think 3 and bigger are better because the girls can talk to eachother while your spitting game
