Neg tips

A neg is a subtle insult or jab that is said in a up-beat or humorous way to cause the target to feel insecure or lower their self-esteem. "It's so cute the way your nose wiggles when you laugh" or "I just saw 3 girls wearing that exact same dress (or whatever) this week but that's cool because it is a nice dress." It's used to lower a targets self-perceived SMV. However it can backfire if the target is of lower SMV or already has low self-esteem.

There are so many things you could say...I think just having a certain amount of situational awareness and using your creative wit in the moment is best.

I only do it for things like sports teams or something. Where its sort of acceptable. Otherwise, everyone else has tried it now, so it doesn't really work that well. You should actually not like the other team.

Every time I do the sports thing it works.

99% of guys don't understand the neg. Better to avoid it.
