When you make a first date like a week out or so, do you follow through at all during that time to make sure she doesn’t flake/make her feel comfortable? If so, how?

So I work an unorthodox schedule and get random days off, so I like to know what I’m doing somewhat ahead of time to not waste them.

I know ideally you’d probably not ask her out that far in advance.

Just wondering how I should handle this. Made a date with a girl I met at the bar for like 20 minutes ish. I feel like if I don’t text her at least once/twice in that time, it may be likely she flakes.

How do you guys handle these situations?
