AWALT means that all women will conform to the theories and generalizations of TRP lore. It's not specific claims. It's a nature that they have which often has certain consequences.

AWALT does not imply certainty, it makes you recognize the possibility & forces you to plan/act with it in mind. Will you always get divorce raped? No, but you'll see marriage differently knowing there's a 70% chance of it happening.

Likewise, will you sacrifice career upgrades if you think your HS ~~golddigger~~ sweetheart will stay with you forever? And on it goes. Plans that acknowledge the possibility of shitty things tend to pan out a lot better than those that don't.

Is AWALT a bit over-dramatic? Perhaps. Alas, it's a necessary concept to strip naive blue pill guys of their idealism.

In the end, you benefit from it.

A little late to the party, but here's my explanation:

AWALT - All Women Are Like That.

Here at TRP we use generalizations, because most of us recognize patterns that we have read about here and also observed in our lives regarding the behavior of women we've known.

Does this mean that all women will cheat? No. It means that if you don't understand how to build and maintain her attraction, there's a chance your girl could cheat, and in extreme cases, she most likely will, depending on how unsatisfied she is with you.
Does it mean all women will branch swing, given the opportunity? No. But if you lose your job, ruin your credit and get up to your eyebrows in debt or become horribly disfigured, then yea - chances are your girl will look for a better opportunity elsewhere.
Are women capable of having intellectual conversations? Sure. But men and women have different interests. We don't usually look to women for intellectual stimulation - that's what guy friends and the Science Channel are for.
Are all women narcissists who feed off of the attention of men? It's either yes or no - but mostly yes. Excluding shy girls, who are mortified by men, most girls learn at a young age that boys go stupid over girls. This is evolution: men evolved to manipulate their environments and women evolved to manipulate men. That's not a bug - it's a feature!
Are all women shit testing you on purpose all the time? Women only shit test you if you are of value to them, so not all women. And a lot of the time women don't even know why they're acting out or being pissy with you, but it's how you handle their behavior that makes or breaks their estimation of you.

AWALT means that no, not all women are like this all the time, but if you neglect them or push them far enough, they can and will fall back to those hardwired default behaviors. Women are selfish by design - evolution favors the mother that would do whatever it takes to secure her place in the tribe, land her the best possible man and see her children safely raised to adulthood. Nothing is 100% guaranteed in a relationship, but as men, we stand the best chance when we understand these behaviors and do our part to ensure our women never have to resort to hypergamy or cheating. That's what TRP is trying to teach us - how women operate.
