This is a really basic text scenario but I wonder how to go about it.

Met a girl today during my lunch break at work, talk her up tell her she's cute and get her number.

After work I text her hello etc. she asks how my day was, I answer but get down to business, since a lot of text game says just short messages and set up logistics.

Me: My schedule is pretty busy the rest of the week but you're cute af so I'd be down to for Friday after work time

Her: What time around?

Me: How's 8?

Her: Yeah that sounds good I'll let you know if anything comes up

Alright so I mean it's a positive response, but I don't like the whole "I'll let you know if anything comes up" bit. Maybe I'm overthinking things, but what should I do? Right now I just haven't replied, this this is set for Friday, I haven't even told her the location of where we are to meet.
