So my ex and I both 19 have been broken up for around 8 months. We broke up because I was too weak and needy and she had some anxiety issues herself. The break up ended on good terms with much room for a future opportunity. Anyways about a month ago we saw each other out randomly twice. She texted me “hey how’s everything” so I played it cool and was honest but didn’t act needy at all. We had a short conversation and it ended on me replying and she never replied back. Yesterday it was her birthday so I texted her happy birthday. She thanked me and brought up a memory from when we dated. I asked a question, she replied, I commented and it ended there. I don’t think it’s what I’m saying that’s causing this. More than anything I’m just curious why she’s texting me and pulling back so quickly. Is it a test? Is she just being friendly? I don’t know. If anyone has any thoughts on this please enlighten me. Thank you
