I’ll likely be downvoted for this, but the gym is the place to pick girls up. It’s a place to train and work on yourself. I had an ex who would catch attention at the gym, guys would go up to here and talk/ask her out. I personally didn’t care but she absolutely hated it, she’d say I just want to workout and not be bothered.

If you are going to ask her, do it after her workout when you both are leaving.

Next time you see her there smile and/or wave as soon as you notice each other. Do not hesitate, do it right then. Make a point to end up in the same part of the gym shes in and say something to her. Make a joke... “Geez you’re everywhere, are you following me?” or “I see you every time I’m here. Do you live in the locker room?” She will probably giggle and the two of you can chat for a minute. Also, Introduce yourself to her... “by the way my names XXX” . This is all low risk, just friendly banter. When you talk to her, be confident and clear when you speak. Watch her body language and you’ll get a better idea of how interested she is in you. Good luck
