How do you open?

(ps - if your answer IS 'just say hi', please elaborate on what you follow up with, as I consider 'hi' a 'pre-opener' - the girls tend to just look at you slightly confused and blink where i'm from lol)

So lets take night game in a bar. How would you open in the following situations?

1/ 2 girls are seated at a table near the bar

2/ 1 cute girl you notice standing by the stairs of the bar

3/ Group of girls standing around a table at near the bar

I chose those situations as there the 3 most recent situations where I've opened

My opens were -

in situation 1, I went with an opinion opener ''Who lies more, men or women?'. I rooted the opener. Gave a false time constraint. They didn't really want to play lol. I got an answer out of them but after that my attempt at trying to lead the convo somewhere else failed and they said they were on a girls night and didn't want to be bothered

In situation 2, I opened and pretended to recognise her. Old school. She turned out to be very friendly.iI asked her name ang age and what she was up too etc and it lead to a short good interaction although I wasn't her type so I moved on

IN situation 3 I opened them with a comment about how the group of lads who I was just sitting next too fancied them and kept talking about them, and they all were friendly and laughed about how the guys looked about 12 and it lead to a solid set and a number an hour or so later
