Been talking to this chick for a over a week.

Today's conversation briefly summed up -

Today, I texted her a picture of a pumpkin that I picked up from the local market with my cousin (we're both into Halloween shit). She responded enthusiastically.

Her: "PUMPKINNNNN"

Me: "Yaass. And a good one too! It's already that time of year again. So excited. What did ya do today, ____?"

Her: "Went to ___ Mall and my grandmas!!"

Me: "We both saw family today, then. That's awesome!" (She knew I was seeing a cousin, so I was being honest). "Hope grandma's doing well....Ya get anything cool at the mall?"

Her: "Thank you! :') Hope your fam is well! And I got 2 new jewelry's for my nipple piercings, and a bunch of new shirts. :3

Me: "Thankss. Dang, that's pretty rad. :O Did they hurt? Sounds like a sweet day. I usually get clothes for Xmas and my birthday in July". (kicking myself over that last sentence. Totally irrelevant, gaah.)

She stopped responding.

....And then 40 MINUTES LATER, I thought to myself "Shit....I fucked up. Maybe she was signaling to me". So I sent a followup -

Me: "Hold on a second.....You're pulling my leg.....I don't think I believe you... ;)"

No response as of yet. That was almost half an hour ago. Granted, she's in college and I know she usually has to go to sleep around 9 - 10 ish, based on our interactions always ending around that time. So there actually is a chance that she didn't see the followup....But honestly? I think I may have fucked up.

What do you think, gentleman? Did I miss an obvious sign? Was I inappropriate in my initial response/second response? And if my suspicion is correct (that she was hinting), did I make it worse by sending the follow up showing that I caught on to what she was doing?.......Or am I reading too much into anything and she just got bored?

Regardless, It's a learning experience, I suppose.
