Well, the shitshow is not only on the UK/media part after all.

On one hand, there are hundreds of PUA coaches that are total bullshit with methods, techniques and teaching in general. Secretly filming women (or people in general, for that matter) is creepy af to say the least. They need to give proof to their “desperate” students.

Even if I think that approaching girls is not a crime, doing so with underage (especially if you’re 25+ yo) is not that cool.

On the other hand, media in general has always tended to sensationalize news, even without 100% knowing the topic. One example is how media has covered news about computer hackers during the last decades.

In this context, if they take the first idiot doing something wrong, it’s pretty easy to generalize and sensationalize the facts. However, PUA coaching is a fruitful business, also full of charlatans and idiots, even the worshipped RSD has/had his flaws (rape, for example).

So, in the end, there’s no reason to call for victims on the PUA coaches side, these are the consequences of bad practices, blame them instead.
