It depends on what you mean. Personally I wouldn’t care how many a man has been with unless he clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing at all. If you don’t know what you’re doing you could just ask the woman if she likes what you’re doing or what she would like. Don’t ask out of insecurity but out of interest.

Nonetheless I think it’s personal how many people someone has slept with so you shouldn’t feel like you need to tell anybody that.

There is a stark difference in a guy with NO experience vs a guy who has some, just not recently. In a casual relationship, it shouldnt be a problem if a guy hasnt had any in awhile - he may be anxious but still knows what to do! Now a guy who has no idea what je is doing....definitely needs to select someone who would be patient with him and doesnt mind teaching him. Not every casual fling/hookup will want to do that - and thats ok.
