I have noticed in the past two to three weeks this girl walking...by me too many times for it to be unintentional. However, to not be so vain, I also double question myself because it could be me being extra aware. Then one time I’m walking past her and she looks at me then looks away and sort of smiled with the side of her mouth.

Today I catches her looking down from the second floor in my direction before turning her head and proceeding to look at the wall. The thing is she seems to always avoid eye contact so it’s sort of made me self-doubt.

Anyways, I’m working out in this leg machine and she comes over to the one right next to mine and asks me if anyone is using it. The thing is when she said this, she started like smiling/laughing. Two or three times we met eyes(for the first time since the last time when she smirked because like I said, she never looks at me). After the third time we met each other’s stare,with her literally laughing/smiling each time, I decided to make my mark.

I asked her name and right after she told me , she gave me the ‘wtf what’s ur name ‘look because I had then asked if she uses the same type of machines and she said no. She went back to working out and then left. I was like “omg I fucking blew it. She didn’t even look at me”. The weird thing is that about literally three minutes later she comes right back! I said “back for round two” and she said yeah. I then look and Caught her eye and she said “what?” as if She thought I had said something. I said I didn’t say anything and she said it was he’s for her to hear with her headphones. I then asked how long she’s been going to this gym and she said two years. It was such a short answer that I didn’t even said anything else. A few seconds later I saw her putting her headset back and I called it quits on trying.

She then left and I didn’t see again, EXCEPT when I went outside and she was chatting up with this dude.

So I have been going to gym for the last three weeks thinking this chick might have a crush on me and then she is just chatting this other dude. Don’t get me wrong, she has the right to talk to whoever she wants, her liking me or not liking me doesn’t change anything, but man. I initially thought they were fighting both when I had seen them inside and then outside but the dude came back inside smiling soooo idk.

Anyways, what do you guys think of this. I felt she wasn’t really taking too much and was like laughing disproportionately, which made it weird for me to make the conversation smooth, as I have no problem talking.
