How do I stop being insecure and go for women I deem out of my league?

Full disclosure, I suffer from this as well in certain settings or situations but have approached some very attractive girls recently and gotten numbers. Just my two cents. I think there’s a lot of talk out there about how the best pickup line is just “hey” because it’s very confident. In my opinion, that is only true when you are really good at immediately steering a conversation into something flirtatious and fun.

I have found recently that I can confidently approach hot women with zero context of a situational opener (and instead just saying hi) because I’m now much more confident in my ability to banter with a girl immediately and have a conversation that is more fun than most other people in the bar would have with her. I think Tom Torero has a lot of really good stuff that has helped me in this area and I’d recommend that.

Think of boring questions you are always asked, how you make those answers interesting? She gives you an answer that is not helping your direction? How can you tweak that question in the future? Etc

The best thing is to first try and make eye contact with the girl, if she stares back at you or keeps looking your way, she’s interested. This is usually what most people do. Anyways I can find a guy really attractive but if I don’t like his personality I will loose interest right away. It all comes down to being confident in yourself. Diminish this “out of league” idea out of your head. Go for whichever girl you desire, if it works out it works out, if it doesn’t then it doesn’t. Just keep trying again and again, don’t give up :)

Maybe the best way is not to think about where you are in the hierarchy compared to them but to drop out of the hierarchy completely. Then everyone is fair game
