Long story short, I had a fun first date at a cafe with a cute girl at my university. As I was being humorous, playful, and charismatic, she showed me clear body language signs of interest, like maintaining eye contact, smiling, giggling, looking at me while resting her hand on her cheek, etc. We shared an awesome connection and I was able to tell that this girl was different than others I’ve met.
Because I was so excited over how well it went, I over-pursued her hours after the date by texting her already about a second date surprise. I know.....it was weak of me and it’s something that I continue to regret. My neediness really showed and her level of attraction toward me suddenly dropped to the point that she ignored my messages and even ignored me on campus the other day as I was playfully calling for her attention. I’ve been giving her some space, even though she doesn’t have me on social media to see how I’m developing myself in the meantime.
I’m just so disappointed in my lack of self-control that my motivation to approach multiple girls in and out of school isn’t the same as it used to be. Any words of motivation and encouragement to get me to move forward and find the right girl for me?
