If it counts- I am a woman and this is super sweet. If she’s into you. If she’s as into you as you are to her then it sounds like a great date and (speaking for myself) if you do well with her godson you will earn yourself some major points.

From another perspective dating is hard and for example I met a guy last night off bumble that I really liked. But I’ve been burned myself and I think the only way to prevent “oneitis” whether it be a guy or girl is to keep options open and try to not put the other person on a pedestal

You're doing fine. Investing emotionally is not a problem, the problem comes when you're the only one to get involved emotionally. Just go with the flow, it seems like you have a cute story, don't expect it to be more than it is right now and enjoy ! If you're grateful for what you already shared together, you won't be needy. And being just a bit needy can be cute too, as everything it's about balance.

But don't overthink this, you're doing great.

Hmm...all I can say is don’t get in your feelings too fast. You barely know this chick. Just let it flow. Courting someone actually takes time and patience.

To be fair, don’t get offended if she’s entertaining other men cuz you got side hoes, too. Exclusivity should be mutual if you wanted to get serious.
