Hey guys,
Field report, this is the second full on approach I've done. Did it about a month ago, before that the approach I did was in August.
Was at a play place with my daughter, saw a mom their with two little girls, pretty attractive. I say "are those yours" and point to her girls; she goes one is mine the other is my niece. We chat, she brings up that she is no longer with the dad and, I explain how I'm in a similar situation. The vibe is good and we just keep talking while our kids pretend to make dinner (toddlers). I had already been there for almost two hours and we had to go grab some real food.
This is it, I can feel my anxiety going up as i know it's now or never. I go fuck it, turn around, look her in the eyes and say me and Lissy got to get going but I really liked taking with you and would love to talk again at some point. She says "that took alot of courage and I would but I'm dating another single parent at the moment, I know how hard it can be". Rejection wasn't even that bad, we had a good conversation for about 10 minutes more after and I headed out.
I think if I keep approaching I may eventually get a girl who actually says yes. I've never successfully done a real day approach, always met girls through my small social circle or recently happn (online dating is going terrible for me though btw). My problem is that if I don't go out of my way to find girls I'll never see them, I work in an office only 1 attractive girl they're and it's my workplace so no. I get seasonal depression and become more anxious/awkward for some reason I feel during the winter months. I have to fake being happy at work, make an effort to strike up conversations, deal with corporate politics and on top of all this try to find a girl. Anyways thanks if you made it all the way to the end of my rant.
Morale of the story: keep approaching, fight seasonal depression (Canada) and I was meant to be born in Mexico I think.
