Ladies , do you have to be super talkative to come across “ confident” to women in a office environment ?

I am extroverted for the most part but I am not someone who is super talkative and outgoing all the time. Sometimes get the feeling thougg , especially at work, that women prefer men who are constantly talking and joking to them. I find my self at work to be tense at times but I am friendly and funny at times. But seems like some guys are just talking with non stop energy all the time at my job .
