Well ya don’t just touch her🤣 Talk to her then if she’s comfortable with you, ask for her number or her socials.

Ok fair
But after I ask for contact info, do I text her later to go out or ask her out when I meet her
And now that I’m not in school, if I see a girl in life that I’m attracted to, is it ok to approach her?

I’d honestly try dating apps. Approaching women is difficult because we get cat called all the time. I don’t think I’d ever go out with someone like that. Talking to them and letting them get to know you as friends allows them to get comfortable. They don’t want to feel rushed into it, remember they don’t know you

I know it sounds like I’m limiting my options but I’ve tried dating apps and they are trash
And your point about friends, like why would a girl wanna go out with a guy if at first he only wanted to be friends, that’s kinda deceiving saying you wanna be more than friends is not good imo I rather her know I’m interested in it

It’s not deceiving, I’m a girl and that’s how I prefer it. I’m not gonna date some guy I don’t know. I’ve done it and I absolutely hated every minute of it. Be friends with her, let her know you’re interested but don’t jump for it. We don’t like to go rushed into it.

Wait so, do I be friends with her or let her know straight away I like her?
[–]ghostrider1938 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link
You want to ease into it. That’s what I’m saying. You’re being friends with her for a short period of time to let her decide if she’s into you. If you jump into it, there’s a good chance she’s going to shoot you down before giving you an actual chance. Like give her two days or so, and you should be fine with asking her out. So, casually flirt but don’t go too heavy. Flirting is okay in a friendship btw.

Ohh that short of time lol
But like, why would she like me? I described myself enough I feel, I mean theirs nothing exciting about me tbh I mean I’ve been told I’m nice and stuff but still

Well let her be the judge of it. There’s someone for everyone.

But I don’t think a girl could like me

This is both good and bad advice. There are plenty of girls who will go out with you after chatting with you for just a few minutes though. This is if they feel comfortable and you sparked attraction in them.
Imo you should always let them know your intentions from the get go so that there's that man to woman dynamic. Getting into a sexual relationship from being friends first is more of an exeption to the rule and that is a situation where a confident man will never find himself in because he doesn't waste time on girls like that. He doesn't have to.

I’m speaking from my own personal experience. I personally wouldn’t want to hop into a relationship if he’s doing offline. I’m sure there’s girls who are up for what he’s wanting to do but I don’t like doing it due to me not knowing the person. Now and days people are going straight for sex when getting into a relationship, not saying he is but a lot of people are and some women are skeptic thinking that’s what their motives are. Again, not all are like that but it’s hard to tell the difference and that’s why I like getting to know them before I date.

No one's talking about a relationship here. I was merely talking about setting up a date on the first approach which is completely reasonable if the guy can make the girl feel comfortable. This of course is quite the task to many guys these days, which is one of the reasons this subreddit exist.
You go to dates to get to know the other person. It doesn't mean you need to hop in the sack after the first date but sometimes that happens as well, perfectly fine as well. You need that sexual attraction to even think about a relationship. Depending on the setting it can be established within the first minutes of interaction or at the least after a date or two. I've never started a relationship before getting the sex out of the way first because a good sex life in my opinion is one of the most important aspects of a healthy working relationship.
