Approached a girl at my local bookstore/cafe. Talked and had a pleasant conversation about how she is starting up a French tutoring business. Left to go back to my table. Later asked for her number as I was leaving, and she handed me her phone to put my number in on the call menu, which I did. She confirmed my name and jokingly asked if I'd like to be a tutor (she knows I don't know French). Though I told her to text me so I would have her number, I didn't enunciate my words. I walked out thinking that maybe she heard me say that I already texted or called my phone with hers and thus had her number. Haven't gotten a message from her this week; maybe she was assuming I'd text her first.
I see her somewhat frequently at the cafe and figured maybe I should mention I never got a text from her, due to a possible miscommunication. Thoughts?
