She wants you to be a safety net to fall back on if she cannot find a "better guy".

(Maybe the inability to accept that I put 2 years in a girl that I though was the one isn't working out..

This is the sunken-cost fallacy. Just because you have already put $20 into the slot machine it doesn't mean the jackpot is nearby. You should cut your losses rather than wasting two more years on someone unfaithful.

Doesn’t sound great tbh. I’d either end it or switch off emotionally and try to have sex with other girls whilst keeping her around. That’s what she’s doing to you..
