You're not in academia because of reasons of academics?

Because you're 19, I recommend you work on refining your personal style that fits who you are. It's all too often for guys comming out of high school/in college to have carbon copy style based on what their clique dressed like.

The fact that you are 19 is good, because bars and clubs are overall bad places to try to meet people/women.

Your dating pool is going to almost exclusively girls in college. Where do those girls get food/coffee? Once a week travel to that area and try to strike up a simple conversation, like for example a girl walking to a cafe to get a coffee, or waiting for a bus.
