Try seducing him with some photos (not nudes, but quite close, escalate if you want) and make him wait A LITTLE (don't overdo this, cause he'll say you're playing games and it's quite unattractive, if the desire is there), then wait for him to initiate conversation again and you can tell him that you miss him, but pay attention to have the sexual frame in which you state this.
From there, go with the logistics which he will set almost for sure, if he isn't stupid of course, but you also have to be good in bed too. Or, at least, willing to do a lot with him. Cause, if he has other (good) options, you may need to step up your (sexual) game. Without getting into too much disconfort, of course.

oooh interesting idea! never been one to use pics but maybe it’s time to give it a try. i’ve always thought playing games made a guy chase me more as absence seems to make the heart grow stronger based on my past experience. interesting to hear that it can work negatively as well... i would say the thing i am most worried about if we sleep together again is if i don’t live up to his past memory of me. i would say i’m alright in bed but last time we slept together we were on acid and had both been waiting for our friend to leave so we could have sex which ramped up the tension a lot. i have no idea if he has a lot of good casual sex or not, but i’m gonna assume so so i’ve gotta step up my game i guess...i wonder how?

i wish i could describe better, but i think it’s his confidence in what he does and the fact that he gets off on pleasuring me without it feeling like he’s just trying to be nice, he genuinely seems like he gets off on pleasuring a woman. yes, i’ve slept with a few others since then and while i had fun nothing has come close! he’s good looking, but not my usual type at all in terms of looks. instead of wanting him because of looks based physical attraction, i think it’s just about his personality and the way he makes me feel, which is why i haven’t given up yet i think.

Based on your comments, it seems like you should play it cool, match his response time in replying, keep the convo light, and seed meeting up in a kind of indirect manner (I'll be at X with some friends, drop by if you're in the area, etc.). If the sex was as good as you say then you guys will end up in bed, I'd guess, but we don't what's going on with him either.
thank you! this was my kind of idea too i guess. the problem is we both work/hang out in the nightlife scene and all our friends know each other and know about his past fling with my friend (who works with me) which makes it hard cos i don’t really want her to know what’s going on even though she’s over him now (makes it hard to arrange casual meetups). like the only place i really see him is at my work...
