I know that intrinsically it’s a dumb question but it’s something my internal psychology really struggles with it. I’ve semi-recently got out of a relationship. I’ve started going to the gym and I’m seeing progress but realistically it’s going to be one year before I reach the physique I want. I spend a bit of money on clothes but everything I buy now won’t fit me in a few months’ time. So I’m a little hesitant to buy a whole new wardrobe. So I know that in a years’ time I’ll be in better shape, more stylish and it will be easier to pickup the type of woman I’m looking for – but I know it’s incredibly dumb to wait until I achieve my goals before putting myself out there. Is it just weak inner game that I think I need to be bigger and more stylish to attract a woman I want? I know attraction/pickup is a skill I should be working on much like working out.

But going back to the question – I can’t help but feel like I’ve got to wait 364 days until I put myself out there. Maybe that’s fine. Maybe I’ll keep hitting the gym and bettering myself with no expectations.
