I have been going out with a girl for 3.5 years. Mainly long distance.

For the first 2, she was extremely keen on me. First told me she loved me, always wanted to speak etc I was still warming up.

Last year I went to live with her overseas for 6 weeks and during it we had problems. She felt I wasn't doing enough around the house (she's a clean freak) and maybe I wasn't, but it was because I was on holiday. When it became an issue I lifted my game but it wasn't the same.

I took the plunge and moved overseas and 6 months later it's gone up and down but she seems to have lost all respect. I've tried doing everything to please her but she doesn't see it. I'm very frustrated.

I have stepkids and a dog we bought together and I'm overseas so breaking up is not an option, but I'm really depressed. I want to find a way to re- spark that attraction she had for me. Since we have been going out for so long, my priority shifted to house husband and I don't think it's working. Our last argument she mentioned she hates how I'm always asking her what she would like done around the house etc. which is just me trying to communicate.

But I'm rattling my mind here. And dying inside.
